Eric Schneider
I’m a London based, internationally published photographer. I also happen to be an architect and a creative strategist by background. The former means that I am particularly graphic, geometry, shape, space and light aware in the way I take pictures: the latter that I try to be highly client focussed.
My passion for photography dates back to my school days. Street photography was my initial focus, inspired by the legendary Henri Cartier-Bresson. My subsequent interest in fashion and portraiture has been influenced by the likes of Richard Avedon, Irving Penn, David Bailey, Peter Lindbergh, Viviane Sassen and many others.
Whenever I am shooting, I’m always seeking the ‘look twice’ image, the photo that will pass the test of time.
My experience from hundreds of shoots, along with completing the Mastered Fashion Photography Programme, has deepened my understanding of professional photography and honed my approach. Along the way, I've learned how to both guide and design shoots, simultaneously maintaining both a clear vision and an open mind, building on the model’s - and the context’s - unique characteristics to deliver images that ideally ‘wow’ and endure.
At the forefront of every commissioned project is also a client centric approach that helps to ensure that my photographic endeavours both reflect my own creative vision and align with the goals and aspirations of those with whom I work.
